On 07.07.2008 the Turkish parliament implemented the new law for the acquisition of real estates in Turkey by foreign private citizens and companies. It repealed the law taken by the constitutional court, two substantial reorganizations were accomplished.
Foreign persons may acquire now up to ten per cent within the entire opened areas of the respective district land property. The new opened areas must be communicated to the commission from the respective governor to from January of the following calendar year.
Companies, which were created by foreign persons in Turkey can, in order to implement the fields of activity agreed upon in the foundation of a firm contract, land property acquire. Foreign companies, which would like to sell their property to another foreign company, can do this only at companies, which exercise the same fields of activity.
To date the chairman of Industry and Chamber of Commerce Kerim TAC and the Tapu and land registry Alanya, the largest demand of foreigners for apartments and villas exists in Alanya. Plots were not preferred in this region.
The reorganization, after which up to 10% of the opened total area by foreigners may be acquired, is particularly for the property market in Alanya a very pleasing message.
Alanya has an opened total area of 11599 hectares. Altogether up to now 146 hectares has been sold to foreigners sold. This corresponds only 1.3% from the total area.
TAC:” Still 8.7% of the opened area can be sold by Alanya at foreigners. After the numbers of February 2008 in Alanya 17871 foreigners acquired , in an area of 146,13 hectares altogether 12832 real estates. From the total area of the district Alanya this constitutes a surface the area Alanya opened of 0, 8%, `s amounts to 12, 6%.
For this reason the future of Alanya looks very shining. In this region there are still plenty of possibilities for lucrative investments.

Also the Turkish newspapers Yeni Alanya and Haber Alanya did not miss to congratulate Ms Arabaci to her 5th anniversary and to report about the celebration in the Restaurant Red Tower. And they also wish Ms Arabaci much success and all the Best in her future.

5 years ago Ms Seyhan Arabaci founded the Al-Active real estate business. Before opening her new business Ms Seyhan Arabaci could take advantage of several years working for a German real estate company, she wanted to pursue her own ideas. Her first priority was to provide a first class customer service to her clients.

Today, 5 years later, Al-Active Real Estate has developed into a very successful enterprise, this had to be celebrated. Numerous guests came to congratulate Ms Seyhan Arabaci on her anniversary. More than 70 guests were invited, and they all came to the Restaurant RED TOWER at the port in Alanya. Many customers and business partners of Al-Active real estate as well as important dignitaries’ of the city of Alanya celebrated together and enjoyed a celebration with a breath-taking view over Alanya.

Also the director of the Tapu department and of the land registry came and of course they congratulate Ms. Arabaci personally to her success in a hard man domain.

Ms. Arabaci in a speech thanked everyone, to whom she had developed a close friendship in the last 5 years. “We do not sell a real estate. We sell a home and wish that our customers feel satisfied in what they have bought. “

Please do not forget that in the month of March the first payment of the real estate tax must be paid to the city hall.

The cost of the real estate tax depends on the value registered in the land register (Tapu) and amounts to 0,1%. You need only take a photo copy of your Tapu to the city hall and they will instruct you on how much you have to pay.

Alanya attracts still more visitors, who also become resident here. This topic was taken up by a West German broadcasting company (WDR) and they sent Mr. Andreas Hodapp to Alanya last week, in order to record a programme about the Germans living in Alanya.
Particularly it concerned about pensioners living here. So who lives here? What are the expectations of people here? These are questions, with which Mr. Andreas Hodapp discussed locally. On a recommendation by Mr. Hockenholz, Editor of the German-language newspaper Alanya Messenger, Mr. Hodapp also went into the office of Active real estates. Coincidentally also a customer was with us at this time. We went together then on a real estate inspection visit. This and also more will be shown on Wednesday the 12th March 2008, in the programme 'Aktuelle Stunde' from 18:50 to 19:30 on the WDR channel.
