AVSALLAR

Avsallar is a small village 23km west of Alanya. The green landscape of lemon and banana plantages and the blue color spectrum of the ocean mix here up and inspire the visitors of this region. Clear seawater and dry beaches are the special preferences of this region. Here you find a nice camping area in the forest near the well-known „Incekum“-beach. There you can relax in the silence of the forest and enjoy the beach fun at one time. „Yahyaoglu- and Coban-bridge“ and „Zindantepesi“ in Hacilar district are other sights in this area.
Avsallar has 8.493 inhabitants and a square messure of und 3 square kilometre. The medical care is offered from a health service of the city and 6 pharmacies. In this area there are a lot of large and small hotels which are visited every year from a lot of tourists from several countries. All 15 to 20 minutes a bus is going from Okurcalar to Alanya and back. The settlement was declared to municipality in the year of 1987.

DEMIRTAS

Demirtas is a little village with 3.864 inhabitants nearly 30 km from Alanya. Here you can see the traditional way of life of the inhabitant people.The tourism is not so far developed as in other regions. Sometimes there are holiday residences of turkish tourists, but hotels you need to look for. In this region are mostly lemon fruits, vegetables and fruits agricultured. The natural landscape in Demirtas is faszinating. For medical care you have a health service and a pharmacy. All 10 minutes a bus goes from Okurcalar to Alanya and back. A small village where you can enjoy the nature. Demirtas was declared to municipality in the year of 1992.


KARGICAK

The small village Kargicak is situated in a wonderful landscape 25km east of Alanya. The never touched nature of this area is a lovely place for nature devotees. Because of the plenty plantages and agricultural areas the landscape is breathtaking. Out of law in this area is not allowed to build higher than 3 floors. Kargicak has 4.146 inhabitants.The buses of Kargicak municipality take you easy every 20 minutes to Alanya and back. The declanation of Kargicak as municipality was in 1998.


KESTEL

The settlement Kestel offers some sights and is 7km east of Alanya. Der Dim Cay (river) is a beloved place for weekend tours and picnic. You can sit in the river and enjoy a wonderful meal with your feet in the cool water or take a bath. In Kestel you have the possibility to see real beauty of nature. Above the Dim Cay in the mountains a large hydro-electric power station will be built where the electricity for the whole region should be gained. The tropic fruits that grow here you find on the markets of Alanya again. In Kestel are a lot of small and large hotel areas. The inhabitants have on there disposal a health service station. Kestel was called for municipality anno 1991.


KONAKLI

Konakli is a idyllic holiday village with 28.000 inhabitants and lays nearly 15 km west of Alanya. In Konakli you find the oldest historical culture of the region. It pays to have a look at the sights. The most important incoming for Konakli is tourism, but also the growing of fruits and vegetables in greenhouses is found. Each Wednesday the fresh fruits are sold on the bazar. You find a lot of modern and luxurious hotels near the beach of this nice village.


MAHMUTLAR

With 23.000 inhabitants is Mahmutlar the biggest suburb and lays 13 km east of Alanya.It´s a lovely place with round about 49 Hotels and 4,5 km beach. Tourism, fruits and vegetables are the important incomings for the village. Every Tuesday and Saturday an agriculturell market takes place. A health service station, a private hospital and 3 pharmacies proof medical support. The city buses go every 10 Min. To Alanya and back. In Mahmutlar you can also find historical sights like the Syedra castle and the antic city Iotape.

OBA

A nice suburb of Alanya with 20.040 inhabants. It lays 3 km east of Alanya in a green landscape in the at the shoots of Taurus mountains.Oba nominates after the Oba river which flew right through the village. Oranges, mandarin, lemon, avocado and strawberrys are agricultured. So the landscape is a mix of plantages which have a wonderful smell in the spring when all is blooming. Oba border on the beach area with a lot of hotels and is a nice holiday place with its wonderful “orangebeach” and a new shopping center. A health service station is situated in Oba. The buses give a good conection with every 15 minutes going buses to Alanya. Oba became municipality in 1989.

OKURCALAR

Okurcalar 32 km west of Alanya and has 11.876 inhabitants. It´s a nice little village of 135 qkm. Tourism, banana agriculture and cattle breeding are the wages of this area. To the 20 modern hotel areas, which every year a lot of tourists visit. The historical Alara castle is situated in Okurcalar and the well-known Alara brook, which is named from the historical alone standing castle. You also find here the historical „Sarburun“. This small village is near the D-400 street and all 5 minutes a bus goes to Alanya and back. For medical care you find a health service station, a private hospital and 3 pharmacies. This settlement was called for municipality anno 1996.

TOSMUR

Tosmur is a small suburb with 5.279 inhabants 3,5 km east of Alanya. In this area fruit and vegetables are agricultured. In the village you find a little bazaar. The small shops are built of wood. In the summer monthes Tosmur becomes a living city with visitors from several countries. The Aquapark in Tosmur offers to young and old bathing pleasure.
